The project:
A different kind of museum aimed at the education of the visitor. Large machinery and exhibits with a space that had a barn like quality about it.
The brief:
To ensure the space felt like a barn and to light the exhibits so that they stood out from the background and gave them an eerie and magical quality. The architects wanted the space to have shafts of light coming through from the ceiling and depicting a barn which had a broken roof. The lighting also had to be functional and provide safety with relevant emergency lighting.
The result:
Beautiful spaces that complement the developers vision. Ecology friendly lighting design and a safe and uniformly lit section 278 and 38 street lighting. Landscape areas have their features lit and light and shade are used to produce a fun yet functional space to work and play.
