Lorraine impressed me form the very first moment we worked together. I hired Lorraine for a specific role but it became clear that her skills far exceeded my expectations. Lorraine demonstrated that she was a fast learner and also possessed people skills that meant that she could slot into a future sales and management role with ease, which she accomplished. Lorraine and her company “it does Lighting Ltd” have been working closely with us since the beginning of 2012 and this has proved of great benefit. Lorraine has contributed to the new Secured by Design lighting guidance for streets and outdoor spaces and helped to shape that document for imminent release. To help our officers implement the changes Lorraine recently presented a series of workshops at our National Training Event on the technical detail of the new British Standard for street lighting (BS5489:2013) which included guidance on the basics of lighting. We will continue to work with Lorraine and seek her assistance on future lighting guidance documents and look forward to a long a fruitful working relationship.
