We are excited to share that one of our recent projects with Ashmere Care Homes was awarded the Client of the Year at last week’s Lux Awards.  

A team of expert judges – consisting of experienced lighting professionals, designers, and end-users of lighting –considered the entries and awarded the coveted Lux Award trophies to companies, lighting designers, and clients.

The trophies were handed out in an innovative, online ceremony watched by lighting professionals worldwide.

Heanor Park is a new-build care home in Derbyshire and the eighth home in the Ashmere Care Home family. Thanks to a collaboration between amBX, Swann Lighting, and It Does Lighting, the new residential care home features Circadian Plus lighting controlled by SmartCore software. 

The recent win has proven just how revolutionary the solution truly is. The Client of the Year category is designed to recognise and reward end users who have employed innovative lighting technology and techniques to achieve their goals. 

At Heanor Park Care Home, the lighting solution enables the precise delivery of the right parts of the colour spectrum at the right time of day to support human circadian cycles. This led to a significant reduction in resident falls, increased engagement, and an improved sleep-wake cycle.
