We were responsible for the first and largest operational CMS site in the UK. From here we instigated energy tariffs from ELEXON that allowed these systems to be used to dim street lights and save energy and paved the way for SMART street lighting.

We were also one of the first design consultancies to embrace using LED and pushed manufacturers to develop new products which enabled us to design more energy effective, innovative schemes. We write guidance documents for the industry, sit on panels and committees and are regularly asked to contribute to workshops where developments in how we produce lighting designs are being explored.

Some of the luminaries used in the industry today were designed by us or in collaboration with us. Several companies who were new to lighting at the advent of LED engaged our services to help them penetrate the market and train their staff in all aspect of the exciting world of lighting. Even the European Commission consider us experts in SMART lighting as we were appointed to guide the Enigma project which centered around five European cities and their quest to be SMART.
